DAV Post Graduate College, Varanasi was established in 1938. The college is affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh and has contributed so much in higher education for more than eight decades. The sprawling campus covering 5.55 acres boasts of being a NAAC accredited institution and offering 23 courses under 5 degree programmes. It has an enrolment of 4,164 students and a strength of 64 faculty members. DAV PG College also offers its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in arts, commerce, and social sciences.

The institution offers full-time courses in 23 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes besides doctoral programmes. Admission on merit. The entrance scores are accepted from BHU PET, Banaras Hindu University Undergraduate Entrance Test (BHU UET), as well as other entrance exams.
