Our college infrastructure is quite decent. There are a lot of open spaces and well maintained greenery. The facilities are all present including laboratories, libraries and hostels. I like the gym. The food is delicious in my opinion.
The teachers are all very experienced and of high qualifications. They regularly update the syllabus since the world of Computer is ever-growing in a fast pace. Apart from our core subjects, they teach us communication skills which I think is very essential for future as well as jobs.
I'm not so sure about this since I'm only in the 1st year. But I guess getting placed in good companies depends on self as well. The better one performs the better jobs will be offered by big companies.
Since I got the seat through CSAB quota, the fee is reduced relative to other entries.
The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful. The boys nri hostel warden is very friendly and kind.
The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college has spacious buildings along with lot of open areas which are very well maintained. The classrooms and the laboratories are also equipped with the necessary tools. The thing I liked the most about the campus was the fact that it has a lot of space for us as students to do the various extra curricular activities.
The academic life at the College is decent. There are faculties who are highly experienced. The teaching is also good with my projects which also help in the process of self-learning. The willingness to help and the availability of the faculty at all times is also quite good.
The placement at the college is average. There are a good number of students placed every year. There are a lot of companies which come in and hence you have ample opportunity to get placed. Few of my seniors recently were able to get into Amazon with packages above 20LPa and there are many more good companies visiting the college each year.
I got a seat through the Karnataka CET. So the course fee is not that high. The overall campus life and academic life are definitely satisfying and provide value for money. But there are fields which can definitely improve and the college is always trying to improve in various aspects.
The Campus life fantastic. There are various activities and events that happen throughout the year conducted by the Student groups and also by the College. The teachers and support staff are also very engaging. The added advantage is the fact that the college is in a good locality and has very good places around the college where you can spend quality time with friends.
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Kumarswamy Layout Campus has all the necessary infrastructure including well equipped smart class rooms, lecture halls, first class auditorium, huge campus with a building for each department and also accompanied by playgrounds for football, basketball and tennis.
The quality of teaching is good being in the top colleges in Karnataka for Engineering. The curriculum is always updated every semester to match the needs of the industry and what job seekers are looking for.
I am still in my pre-final year, and hence yet to attend or get placed. Considering my seniors , a majority have been placed in very good companies with good packages , highest being 31.5 LPA and an average being around 6.5 LPA for all the placed students.
I got an admission through KCET merit quota and hence it is about 1L per year, which brings it to about 4L for the whole Engineering course.
Campus life is amazing. Located in the heart of Banashankari, it is easy to access by walk, metro and even public transport. Students can engage in various clubs and extra curricular activities like sports, drama, music, designing etc.
This campus being the main and first campus has a very good infrastructure and heritage of all its glorious past. It is the most well maintained and the most scenic campuses of all the colleges in Bangalore filled with lush green plants and trees.
In terms of infrastructure, the college has everything a UG student needs - a good hostel, 3 canteens, a tennis court, a football/cricket pitch etc. Irrespective of the department, every classroom in the college comes equipped with a projector, and has a whiteboard. The labs in each and every department have a good set of materials (machinery, computers and other lab-related equipments) that would enable the students to gain that extra bit of practical exposure.
I'm an undergraduate student, currently pursuing my bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering. Having just over a year left, I can firmly assert that the syllabus is pretty up-to-date with the industry requirements and the subjects/courses offered aren't limited to just a few domains. Through this, a student isn't only exposed to multiple domains that are prevalent in the industry but also paves them a path that would help them decide what they would potentially want to take up as a career.
With placements currently going on, I feel like I'm in a very good position to answer this question. The college does attract companies from all three CTC brackets (Tier 1 - <7 L, Tier 2 - 7-20 L, Tier 3 - >20 L). The companies/MNCs that come are mostly software/IT based, and a handful of core companies. As I'm limited to just 500 words, I'd suggest the readers to have a look at the placement stats of the 2017-2021 batch on the college website.
A CET student wouldn't have to shell out more than 4L for all 4 years, whereas a Comed-K student would probably have to pay just under 10L for all 4 years. The hostel(s), albeit good, are expensive and cost nearly up to 1.4L. So if you're looking for a place to stay that has good amenities and doesn't cost a fortune, a PG or a flat would do as they're much cheaper and offer a lot more.
The Campus is spread over 20 acres, and has pretty much everything a student would need. It has multiple libraries, a stationary store, Xerox, 2 auditoriums, an amphitheater, a tennis court, a football field, loads of places to chill with friends, 3 canteens, and a parking lot for two-wheelers.
If you're looking to get a good education and want to see yourself being industry ready, DSCE is a good institute to do so. Every college has its pros and cons, and as for DSCE, the pros outweigh the cons. Besides gaining academic and technical exposure, the college has a lot going on with respect to culturals as well. Overal, it's a good college that provides quality education and has a lot to offer.
The college infrastructure is very good. The campus is built over a large area, with blocks dedicated to each department. The labs associated to the various branches are well equipped and properly maintained.
The quality of teaching is really good and the teachers are quite qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is changed every so often to meet the changing requirements of the industry. They also have tie ups with companies like Automation Anywhere and Nokia, who come and conduct seminars and introduce us to some of the technologies they work with and have us do a graded project on the same.
The track record of students getting placed, especially the CSE department is very high. About 80-90% of the students get placed by the third year of the course. The pay packages are also good with the highest being 31L and the average being about 5-7L. The placement cell is pretty active and do a good job of keeping students in the loop on the various companies that come for placement drives to the college.
There's various things to do in the college aside from academics. There's various one can join based on their interests. These could pertain to groups for conducting cultural activities, entrepreneurship, or even clubs pertaining to the course you are in. So, these could be clubs focusing on AI/ML, Web development, Cyber security, Competitive coding, etc.
College has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities required for the students. Computer Science department have smart classrooms, well equipped laboratories and a library for the department. College main library is a digitilised and contains almost everything needed for students and teachers.
I studied computer science in dsce. The curriculum is up to date it is based on industry standards. The recent technologies were included in syllabus. The faculty in cse and very supportive and encourges the students. Cse has extra labs and learning sessions for iot, ai-ml, web, mobile development etc.
The placements are good in dsce . So many companies visit dsce and students will have a great opportunities. Almost most of the students will get into one or other company . College is very supportive in placements. Some placements sessions are also conducted which will help the students.
Course for cet students is 86000 in which the college fee is 36000 remining fee is cet. The money which we pay is really worth it
College campus life is best in dsce. College is vast and everyone one or the other activities will be held on. Sometimes singing and dancing competition will be held in amphitheatre we used enjoy from the department. College is in kumarswamy layout transport facility for college is also good. Teachers are so much supportive and friendly
Dayananda sagar college of engineering college has a very good infrastructure with various blocks for different branches of engineering and a block for architecture and dental. The campus is built over a large area with a football field, basketball ball court, long tennis court for those interested in sports. The labs which I attended were well equipped. I don't stay in the hostel so cannot comment on that but I guess it does the job. Over all the infrastructure in our college is good
I am currently in my first year of engineering and and because of the coronavirus half of our classes are online. Some of the teachers are good some are average in their teaching style or lack of experience like any other college. I think the curriculum is okay and it does its job.
The placements in our college is good. A lot of companies visited our college in 2021 and there was a 1000+ offers this year with the highest package of 31. 5 LPA and an average package of 6.5 LPA. I don't know about the placement training because its my first year in the college but hope it's good..
Half of our academic year we are having classes in the online mode so could not enjoy any facilities the college can provide. So when it comes to value for money it's not worth it yet..
We attended college only for two months in the offline mode and most of it was just academics but there were events on Saturdays and some workshops but the only problem was we had no time to manage both academic and other stuff because our academic year was cut in half.
The college infrastructure is amazing. The college has all the facilities and other necessary equipments. The classrooms have smartboards. The college has labs, libraries, wifi. The hostel is nice na has good ventilation system. The food is also good.
I am pursuing my B.tech in Computer Science. The quality of teaching is of moderate level. The curriculum is updated and has all the recent developments in the field. The faculty is experienced. The study makes a student job ready.
The quality of the placement at my college is of moderate level. Approx. 80% students gets placed. The average salary offered is 4.5 LPA in CS and highest was offered was 22 LPA in Electronics and Communication.
Lush campus with healthy competition. The campus is designed in a way so that no student feels trapped. It is peaceful and calming but cheerful and sporty at the same time. Adequate infrastructure for every department is there.
Academics is taking more seriously than anything here. Continuous internal assessment and other assessment exams, nothing is neglected. Students are encouraged to clarify their doubts, are provided with notes etc.
Many good companies come with many offers. More than 90% placement records. Though many opt for higher studies, students are always enthusiastic about placements. One of the best colleges in Bangalore in terms of placement.
Cost efficient. Other private engineering colleges in India take comparatively lot more than dayanandasagar college of engineering providing the same facilities. Situated at a busy place in Bangalore where you all facilities toom
Huge campus with beautiful flowering plants and lush green trees. The campus freshens the minds of the students with its greenery. Sports facilities and other facilities are also available. Campus dogs are very cute.
Infrastructure is the most awesome, The latest technology is available and all classes are well equipped with projectors for better learning experience and There are more cleaning and security staff than others. It very awsome to be auch clean and green environment there.
Computer Related subjects are damn easy, and aincebits autonomous, the syllabus is as per latest industrial requirements, they will teach nothing irrelevant and even inaths in earlier semesters they will teach you and make you understand its importance in ypur field engineering. Its perfectly trimmed syllabus as per requirement of Industries
95-98% placement among eligible varies every year, but in tech branches your will be placed 100% and avg package was 6.5L this year. The Placement cell wil train a person so efficiently thay no company can reject its student(if knew coding)
It very awsome place in all regards
Both have their own advantage if you want strong reputation and better infrastructure with good industry connection then go for pesu biotechnology whereas if you want experienced faculties, specialised curriculum with less students then you should choose DSCE without any doubt. choose wisely according to your requirement.
hello aspirant,
dayananda sagar college of engineering doesnot have place in tier 1 colleges. it is a average college.
it has average placement record. and infrastructure is not good.
if you take computer science you may gets some placement.
i recommend you to look for some other colleges.
Hii There,
The regular commencement date for B.Tech classes at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is August 1st, unless it falls on a Sunday or coincides with a government holiday.
I hope this answers your question.
