DCAB College, Raisen was set up in 2009 as an affiliated college in Obedullaganj, Madhya Pradesh. Located in a small area about 1 acres, this is a coeducational college and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college has two postgraduate programmes in education that take a total of 43 students. Having a scant faculty of 16, it is easy to manage a satisfactory student-teacher ratio so that the students of this college can enjoy individual focused knowledge transmission. Since the college offers teacher training programs, the prospective teachers in the region are especially likely to consider the college.

The physical infrastructure at DCAB College includes a number of that can be helpful in improving the students’ learning experience. This institution has hostels for boys and girls as an accommodation facility to out-station students in particular. A fully stocked library is stocked with well over 3000 books, 10 journals and magazines, which are an asset to the academician. The provisions made by the college carry forward the college’s conviction to the basic philosophy of education, besides a sound body, the college facilities also offers provisions for cricket, football, hockey, volley ball, badminton and Basketball. Digital learning is facilitated with modern computers, printers and internet technology as the infrastructure of the college. IT commencement also facilitates laboratories, workshops for skilful exercise, and an auditorium for functions and synopses. An added advantage there are canteen and this has a parking space which will suit the students and staff.

For its academic program, teacher education programs are offered in DCAB College. The institute provides two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with a duration of two years and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) also with two years program. These two programmes admits 50 students annually for the entire range of courses and programs and in general, there are 100 approved positions. These programmes are meant to produce professional who will teach or manage educational institutions and this is in line with the colleges specialization in producing teachers.

The selection criteria of admissions in DCAB College is strictly on the basis of marks score in the qualifying examination / any entrance examination, if held. Admission policy of the college is also an important policy constitution of this college and it is implemented as per the guidelines of state government, UT administration as well as the affiliated university.
