Deccan College of Education. It is a co-educational institution offering teacher education programs. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and has merit-based admission procedure for all the programs offered by the college. Admission to Deccan College of Education is designed to admit meritorious candidates for its D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) and B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) courses. The total intake capacity of the college is 100, with 50 seats available for both D.El.Ed and B.Ed courses. Admission usually occurs every year in accordance with the academic calendar of Telangana.

Degree Wise Admission Process:
D.El.Ed: The D.El.Ed programme in the Deccan College of Education has an intake of 50 students approved by NCTE. Admission is made on merit basis with marks obtained in the qualifying examination. But the candidates should have to attempt entrance examination and/or any other selection procedure as decided by the Telangana State Government. D.El.Ed shall lead the students for teaching up to elementary level.
B.Ed: The intake capacity for the B.Ed program conducted at Deccan College of Education is approved at 50 students. For the B.Ed program, however, the actual admission details could not be retrieved. The candidates may have been selected on the basis of their merit, following the same lines as the process followed for selecting candidates for D.El.Ed programs. A degree in any stream at the bachelors' level would usually be the required eligibility for this B.Ed course.
