12 MonthsMaster of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Accounting is a full-time one-year postgraduate course offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi.
1. Candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in the aggregate with 5% relaxation for OBC/SC/ST and Persons with Disability in M.Com./ MIB/ MHROD/ MFC/ MBA and other such degrees which are equivalent to the MBA degree of the University of Delhi and other Indian Universities.
2. Candidates who have appeared for the examination in the above-mentioned postgraduate program may also apply. However, such candidates will be allowed to appear for the entrance test, only provisionally. Their applications will be considered subject to submission of their final results within a prescribed time stipulated by the Department and fulfillment of the minimum eligibility requirements.
3. Foreign students shall apply through FSR (Foreign Student Registry).
There are two modes of admission in the M.Phil. program
(I) Written Entrance test
(II) Direct Interview
(I) Written Entrance test
1. The Written entrance test would be compulsory for students, who are otherwise eligible, for admission to the MPhil Program. The entrance test will be conducted once a year.
2. The combined entrance test for M.Phil. and Ph. D. will be a qualifying examination with qualifying marks of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NC)/PWD). The syllabus for the entrance test will consist of 50% questions on research aptitude/methodology and 50% subject-specific questions from the following areas.
