Mahatma Gandhi University, Cheruvandoor Campus, Kottayam is glad having its constituent college, the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences which was established in 1996. Co-educational Institute situated at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala India, this is an Institute for pharmaceutical education and research. These include the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) hence the quality education offered in the department. The institute occupies only 4 acres of land and provides only 3 courses across two levels of education in pharmaceutical sciences. The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides the students a specialised course list within the domain of pharmacy. The institute provides three full-time programmes: B.Pharma, B.Pharma Lateral Entry, and M.Pharma in Pharmacology all the courses provide here has been designed to help the learners master the principles required in their pharmacy courses. The throughput capacity, accredited for the B.Pharma programme is 60 while the throughput capacity for the M.Pharma Pharmacology programme is 15.
