Devaswom Board College Thalayolaparambu, was founded in 1965 and is located in Kerala India and is among the most highly accredited college. This affiliated college which is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) spans undergraduate and postgraduate courses in numerous specialisation areas. Established on the vast area of 22 acres it has the total student strength of one thousand thirty four and the faculty of thirty Two. 

Devaswom Board College well enhancing infrastructures that provide an improved learning environment to the college students. A library that is furnished with countless books, journals and periodicals act as knowledge bank. Present and computerised, the library has the spirit and direct approach of contact to the e-journals, e-books, and online databases by UGC-Info Net Digital Library and N-LIST. The college has several facilities for Computer Centre is available for internet and students do complete their project with the help of this center. Games facility available are Kho-kho, football, volleyball, and also cricket to be mentioned among them and more so sports lovers can take advantage of them. It also has a sporting complex which include a Gymnasium, Health centre with first aid facilities, Covered Auditorium to Seat 500 and an Open Air Auditorium which will seat 1,000 viewers.

Devaswom Board College provides for almost all types and level of courses to ensure they meet the needs of their students. The institution offers 15 course of study which include undergraduate and the post graduate programmes. At undergraduate level courses are offered in different fields like B.A Political Science, Malayalam, Hindi, English B.Sc Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Botany. The college also provides the B.Com in Marketing for those students who have a liking towards commerce stream. Others are M.Sc in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and MA in Malayalam for post graduate studies. 

The admission process at Devaswom Board College is done through CAP, which is CAP of Mahatma Gandhi University. UG candidates have to apply through UG- CAP facility and PG candidates by the PG- CAP facility.
