Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates should have passed the UG Degree examination in the 10+2+3 stream, with the same main subjects in part – III, for which she is seeking admission to B.Ed course.

    Candidates with the following marks in the Bachelor’s Degree are eligible for admission to the programme other than Economics and Commerce subjects of which PG qualification will be mandatory.
  • OC    – 50%
    BC – 45%
    MBC – 43%
    SC – 40%

    Candidates with PG qualifications and who have secured 50% of marks in the PG Degree alone will be considered for Economics & Commerce Optional Subjects.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
