Dharampeth Education Society's Dharampeth Polytechnic, Nagpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Dharampeth Polytechnic, Nagpur, in association with Dharampeth Education Society, is a renowned technical institute of the city, started in the academic year 2009. The institution is based in Nagpur, Maharashtra; it is an affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education in New Delhi. Located on a small campus of 2.5 acres, DPN offers many courses in Diplomas, wherein the desires of budding engineers gain admission. 

There is a total intake of 260 students within the institution. It has 17 faculty actively serving, thus ensuring the right student-teacher ratio. DPN offers four specialised Diploma courses, all of which are oriented toward fostering technical expertise in various streams of engineering. The campus is provided with facilities for better exposure and overall learning of the students. The laboratories for practical training are fully equipped, the library is well-stocked to provide adequate support for academics, and modern IT infrastructure is available to keep up with technology. 

For holistic development, DPN has sports facilities and a gym, which foster physical fitness and academic growth. The college also houses an auditorium, which provides a platform for different events and seminars, leading to a vibrant campus culture. Other facilities include a canteen and a convenience store to meet the daily needs of the students, while a health center with first-aid facilities caters to their well-being. It has rightly been committed to alumni relations by sustaining a strong bond between the institute and past students, something that is less common in such a young institution. 

Dharampeth Polytechnic proposes four full-time diploma courses, each of three-year duration. These courses in different engineering specialisations aim to provide students with a strong base in technical education. The institute has a total approved intake of 210 seats with all of its courses put together, which reflects its capacity to produce a good number of aspiring technicians and engineers in the professional world every year. 

Dharampeth Polytechnic has a smooth and purely merit-based admission process. In almost all the diploma programmes, the candidate's admission depends on the performance in the 10th standard.
