Dharampeth Education Society established Dharampeth Polytechnic, Nagpur (DPN) one of the most ancient technical institutes is located in this city. It offers diploma-level courses in all engineering disciplines. Admission to the college is based strictly on the merit basis. DPN also holds AICTE approval which provides quality technical education in the city of Nagpur, Maharashtra.

DPN offers four specialized diploma courses, each running for three years. • Character certificate from the last attended school

•  Any other documents as specified by the institute at the time of application

4. Merit-based Selection: Since admission is purely on merit, applications shall be shortlisted on the marks obtained in 10th standard. The greater the marks more will be the chances of admission.

5. Admission Offer: The selected students for the course will be provided admission from the institute. In case of selection, you would need to confirm your seat within the timeframe given to you.

 Degree Wise Admission Procedure

Diploma in Construction Technology: The approved intake for this course is 60 students. Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's 10th standard results. This course is meant to equip the students with the knowledge and skills regarding construction techniques and management.

Diploma in Computer Technology: This program has an intake of 60 students and admits students based on their 10th standard results. It provides the student with various aspects of computer technology in preparation for the rapidly changing IT industry.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: There are 30 students admitted per year. Entry to this programme is through passing marks in 10th standards. The study programme covers electrical engineering fundamentals as well as developments in the areas.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Offers 60 intakes. Admission would be based upon the 10th standard mark sheet. A full range of mechanical engineering is covered in a course, beginning with principles, followed by practice.
