The Dhemaji Commerce College was established in the year 1982. It is one of the leading institutions affiliated with Dhemaji, spreading over 5.6 acres in the state of Assam. The college has been at the forefront of higher education for more than four decades. The college offers diverse undergraduate courses in arts and commerce and is NAAC-accredited. With a total student enrolment of 798 and faculty strength of 36, Dhemaji Commerce College provides a very good platform for pursuit of academic aspirations and overall personality development of its students. 

Prominent within this infrastructure is a well-furnished library with over 28,000 volumes of textbooks, reference materials, journals, and magazines. Open access in the library, computerised management of books, and the OPAC facility enhance usefulness. To ensure the health and well-being of the learners, Dhemaji Commerce College has a Health Centre with first-aid facilities and periodic medical check-ups. The students are able to readily access cricket, football, badminton, and volleyball along with indoor games and practice in a fully-fledged outdoor stadium from the college campus. The outdoor stadium practice facility is readily available to students nearby. Campus is WI-FI enabled which gives the students free internet access. A computer lab providing dedicated workstations to the students.
