DHSK Law College is among the legal colleges offering education in Assam, India since its establishment in 1965. Spread over a small area of 3.2 acres this college has been molding legal brains for more than 50 years. BCI is the Bar Council of India which sanctions the institution and it checks to see if the colleges complies with general legal education. DHSK Law College has a small teaching staff of 5 members that allows giving much attention to the students and thus, the college maintains a favourable nature. 

The physical facilities of DHSK Law College is developed with legal education in mind. The law college provide such as classrooms, a good library with legal texts, a full demo court facility, etc. This may have assured that the college was located in Dibrugarh that being one of the key cities in Assam, offered students a practice exposure to some legal proceedings. 

DHSK Law College has a structured programme emphasis, the main programme being the Bachelor of Legislative Laws (LLB). This course is a three-year course offering fulltime education that prepares students with the basic ground on legal studies. The college has an intake of 60 students for this programme which shows that the college has restrictions in the number of students to be admitted for this programme that gives the college the opportunity of closely monitor each student admitted into this programme. This limited intake also shows the quality of education by making students compete for the few available slots in the universities especially due to a stronger completion rate. 

DHSK Law College gives admission only on merit basis that means selections are done through the merit list based on the qualifying examination. This approach helps in ensuring that the college admits students with qualities that meet its standards hence the possibility of admitting students by posting good grades. Being established in 1965, Mass Legal should be perceived as a stable organisation providing education in the field of law and training legal professionals.
