LLB at DHSK Law College, Dibrugarh Offline Course

The candidates who have a bachelor's degree from the Dibrugarh University, or any other university, or institution, recognized by the Dibrugarh University to be equivalent, with at least 45% marks in major or aggregate. Relaxations of up to 5% of total marks in respect of SC/ST candidates and up to 3% in the case of OBC/MOBC candidates are allowed as per norms of the Bar Council of India. However, the applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post-graduation through the open universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission to law courses. Moreover, the minimum qualifying marks as mentioned above, shall not automatically entitle a person to get admission into the college, but only shall entitle the candidates to fulfill other institutional criteria notified by the college at the time of the admission.

Age limit for admission

As per Clause 28(b) of the Legal Education Rules, 2008 of the Bar Council of India “Subject to the condition stipulated by the University, and the general social condition of the applicants seeking legal education belatedly, the maximum age for seeking admission into a stream of Three Year Bachelor Degree Course in Law, is limited to thirty with right of the University to give a concession of five further years for the applicant belonging to SC or ST or any Other Backward Community.
