Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by the Assam University, Silchar.


Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate with at least 50 % (fifty) marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% (fifty five) marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. Programme. (The % of marks in case of candidate having honours in Graduation is the aggregate of the marks scored in both Pass and Honours papers).

Admission Details

Candidates seeking admission into the B.Ed Course need to appear and passed the entrance examination conducted by the Assam University Silchar.
