24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme of Maharshi Dayanand University is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Haryana State Government. It has been designed to aim at developing the understanding of teaching-learning process at secondary and senior secondary school level and the competencies required by the student- teachers to make this process effective. The programme enables student- teachers to engage with studies on educational issues of global, national, and state level and develops a conceptual understanding about the role of teacher in this culturally diverse scenario. It focuses on enabling student-teachers to reflect critically on perspectives of education and integrate the theory and practices in a holistic manner to facilitate active involvement of learners for creation and construction of knowledge.
The Candidates with at least 50% marks (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) either in the Bachelor Degree and /or in the Master's Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) or any other qualification equivalent thereto*, are eligible for admission to the programs. BBA/MBA with 50% Marks (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana Only) and BCA/MCA with 55% marks (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana Only).
Admission shall be made on the merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/U.T. Administration and the University.
