24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Assam University, Silchar.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Science/ Humanities/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. Program.
The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be maintained as per the Central Government/State Government rules, whichever is applicable.
Admission Details
The Selection for Admission in B.Ed. The course will be made from the Merit List prepared by the university completely based on Academic Records and Performance through Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by University for the said course. Reservation of seats in this regard will also be followed as per the govt. norms.
