Dr Ambedkar Government Arts College, Chennai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

All students at Dr Ambedkar GAC Chennai, have access to the library. Individual access to N-List (National Library and Information Services) enhances e-learning is N-List. The visually impaired have their own section in the library. The PCs in this section feature specialised software that makes independent learning easier. 

The Dr Ambedkar GAC Chennai has a space for events and seminars called an auditorium. Academic and non academic events are conducted. 

All students have access to the Dr Ambedkar GAC Chennai sporting facilities. All sporting events are coordinated by the physical director from his office. Basketball, kho-kho, hockey, throw ball, and volley ball courts are all well-equipped at the campus. In addition to these, the PD room has two tables for playing table tennis.

Dr Ambedkar GAC Chennai provides student access to department-based laboratories.  Where necessary, the furniture is maintained and replaced. For the science lab, the government appoints a lab assistant. They are in charge of keeping the lab's equipment in working order. For computer and equipment repair, the college uses outsourcing.

The students at Dr Ambedkar GAC Chennai have access to first-rate IT infrastructure.  Access to WiFi throughout all departments. Since the majority of departments have LCDs and make good use of the equipment. Purchasing proprietary software to boost IT understanding.  Two labs with nearly 75 machines are in working conditions. LCD Projector and Visualizer is available in both labs.
