The teachers are highly qualified and they are very knowledgeable about what they are teaching. The teachers are also highly supportive and they also help and support the students for both academics and for other extracurricular opportunities. The course curriculum is well-structured. Every year, big events like Ovations are celebrated on the college campus, and the administration is always keen on achieving the holistic development of students. Sports Day and Arts Day are two major events. We have separate labs for every department. We have 3 main gates in the college. For women students, they have a special hostel building and a common room.
The teachers were very helpful with studies, research and assignments. We have two internal exams in each semester and one main exam. We don't have any model exams. The semesters exams are a little tough, we have to cope up with them. If you study regularly and make notes in the class, then it will be much easier for you to get a good score in the examinations. The course curriculum is well-structured.
The placement provided by the college is a great opportunity to get a job in a good company. The highest package came was 8 Lacs and the lowest package was 2 Lacs. There is a 100% job opportunity provided by the college. The companies that came were The Hindu, Strive, and Accenture. Many companies conduct interviews but do not announce the results.
The college is located in the heart of Chennai City, which is why there is pollution, noise from vehicles, and lots of traffic. Loyola College has the biggest library in the entire Chennai city. The annual fest "The Ovation" is celebrated in February; film artists visit the campus at that time. They have food with great taste and the infrastructure in the hostel is also good. Sports at Loyola College are the best.
Teachers provided in my college are educated, good, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the quality of their teaching style is understandable by the students with fluent English . Semester exams are written well and get a good percentage; the pass percentage is also high. Food taste in canteens is average; in hostels, it is less.
At least 69% of the students passed my course. The highest package was around 6 LPA, and the average was around 4.5 LPA for B.Com. There were top recruiting companies like TCS, EY, Deloitte, and some banks too, which are some of the important banks in India. Roles include test right, information executive, and biotech technician.
Here all necessary things are available here but all things are not well maintained. Hostel are not so good. Here wifi is available. 2-3 playgrounds are available in the campus. Many cafeteria and food court are available here. Foods are hygienic and good.
I joined this college because because it is near from my house. Quality of teaching is not so good. Teachers are not so good in our department. Sometimes they are biased with some students. Some teachers are good very helpful.
Yes they provide placements. Career development centre help us to find good placement. They also provide us internship. They suggest us to do side courses so that our CV will be valuable more. Teachers also helping us in this matter.
Very big Christian College with good infrastructure and they have very big play grounds and they maintain living spaces clean. And the classrooms WiFi is not available in college but in hostel wifi is available
I completed b.com commerce in that college. When it comes to academics the faculty of commerce are very good and experienced ,they teach is in a very easy manner so that students can understand faster
The placements for commerce department are good to some extent which I personally feel worth. But it depends on students to which extent they utilise the opportunities provided by the college for their career
It is completely worthy to invest in this college for graduation because they offer quality education for a very reasonable tuition fees. They even give cash prize for students who are academically good
The students completely enjoy the campus life in our college. The campus contains many trees and it contains big library, separate departments for ug and pg. They conduct many activities for students enjoyment
On an overall we can say that our college is worth joining. Our college provides mid day meals scheme for students who are economically weaker. It also contains Library for all the students , they can go anytime and study. Hostel facilities are also available for non- local students different hostels for both girls and boys. The non- teaching staff of our college are very friendly with the students and they help with everything. Hostellers are allowed for outing also on weekends monthly 2-3times
College is having very good infrastructure and inside the campus church is also there. They have projector for all classes and they don't have smart board and wifi in the college but they have wifi in the hostel
I completed b.com hons in this college and the quality of teaching is good and government allotment teachers also there. And they conduct seminars for every month and they will include each and every student in that
Lowest packages is 2 lakh and highest is 5 lakh. Every year 40%-50% students will placed in campus. College gave training (aptitude and communication skills) also for students who want to participate in campus placements
I paid 40 thousand for one year and if the student have low attendance need to pay extra fee also on the other side my money is worthy because they teach me finance subject very good and it is very useful for my future
As a student one will enjoy the campus life, the campus consists of many trees and garden also. The students can find peace in the campus and engage themselves in all the activities. Our campus has stationary
Overall we can say that the college is very good and our college has various laboratories for all the departments. The management also started an initiative of arranging mid day meals scheme in which our college provides free lunch for students who are slightly from low economic background. Our college management also helps those students who wanted to work part time along with the studies in order to help their family financially, which I think is a very great move in shaping the students minds
This college is not very famous due to not doing much advertisement but I would like to tell you that this college is NACC A++ approved. There is no deficiency of any kind in the infrastructure of this college, that is why this college has got such a big approval. The library labs are fully maintained in this college. Projectors have been set up in the classroom. Here Wi-Fi facility is available in the entire campus, which is free of cost for students.
Most of the teachers here are from Chennai or from the south india, due to which we face a little language barrier. All the teachers here teach in English but sometimes they use the local language.I am doing BCA from this college. This college strictly follows its academic calendar and gives very less holidays to the students.
The placements here are average because most of the students go here for higher education. The highest package here is 10 lakhs and the average package ranges from 3.5 lakhs to 4.6 lakhs.Every year 70% students apply for campus drive out of which 50% students get placed.
The fees here is Rs 50,000 per year, in which external charges are also added later.Keeping in mind the environment here and the education here as well as the placement here, this fee is reasonable for doing BCA.
The campus is very big and not only BCA but many other courses are run in this college and students from different parts of India come here for study. From time to time this college also organizes events which entertain the students. Most of the students here spend their time in the stadium. This college is in Chennai.
Overall, I think it is an average college. If you want to take admission, you can.
The college infrastructure was good with green surrounding trees where all the lab facilities for bcom were good and the library facilities support us with all the knowledgeable books in the college library
The quality of teaching is good in the loyola college of chennai with an good experienced teachers and the curriculum was good in the college as itself as the college is autonomous and the question paper will be prepared by the college
The quality of placement in the loyola college was good with good package from the reputed companies and the highest package of salary was around 45 lakhs per annum in the top multi national college in India
Clean and green campus. Good infrastructure, facility, and equipment. Huge library, No smart board. Once again green campus. good people. Student-driven college, Well-maintained. Average WiFi. 100-acres campus.
Experienced faculty for both shifts. Faculty with good subject knowledge. Most of them are PhD holders. Students may get various opportunities to work on different research with good stipends. Happy learning.
Confirm 25% placement. None of the offers will have any bond. For placements, huge corporates will come for hiring. I don't know Why they came. but they came. And taken 2 or 3 among the 10000 students.
It was a great college. Every facility was good, infrastructure, library, hostels were hygiene and it was good environment to study. They provided with sports centers with good facilities. I enjoyed being there alot .
The faculty were very good and full of knowledge and the teaching way was very interesting. The curriculum was updated as needed and includes all the necessary things. The academics are so helpful and thoughtful.
They are providing the placements and working hard to attracting the outsiders to take the students. They are training students to get there desired jobs. The placement percentage was around 60% and the highest package offered is 6LPA and average is around 4Lpa
It is best and the location, campus were good enough to stay and learn.
