Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engineering and Research was established in the year 2008 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Admission in DBACER is done principally on the basis of scores in the Common Entrance Test, CET, conducted by Maharashtra's competent authority. It also accepts scores in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main Paper I. The Eligibility criteria to get admission in the B.E. program of the DBACER would be 10+2 or equivalent exam with compulsory subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and also qualified in minimum scores declared by the competent authority in entrance exam either MHT CET or JEE main Paper I.
2. H2 Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: DBACER offers four B.E. programs, each for a period of four years. All the B.E. programmes have the same admission criteria. For all the programmes, there is admission based on MHT CET/JEE Main scores. Details of the programmes offered and their intake are given below
These qualifications may also be obtained for scoring in all these programmes by gaining qualification obtained in CET held by Competent Authority or JEE Main Paper I. They select through centralized admission processes.
The admission process in the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engineering and Research at Nagpur is as follows:
1. Must appear for MHT CET or JEE Main : Candidates must take either of the two tests: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Paper I.
2. Registration for Centralized Admission Process: After the declaration of results of the entrance exams, the candidates are supposed to register themselves for the Centralized Admission Process carried out by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell.
