Dr. BPS College, Agra, was established in the historic city of Agra in the state of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2010. Since its inception, this affiliated college located on more than 2.47 acres has flourished through strength in all directions and presently serves 1,536 students through a wide array of courses led by a dedicated faculty team of 4. Dr. BPS College operates 13 courses in 7 different degrees for academic and professional interest areas.

The campus is well facilitated to run parallel with the academic sessions. The library, being the bed of books for study, has nearly 10,000 text books, reference books, journals, and magazines in an air-conditioned environment. Several numbers of laboratories, especially physics laboratories are well fitted so that students can acquire practical knowledge and skills. It supports modern learning techniques with the help of its IT infrastructure and enables students to be abreast with the technologies that are going about around them. In addition to academic pursuits, the college sports facility with a gym and an auditorium is there for extracurricular activities, events, and other programs. Relaxation spaces and socializing facilities are provided by a comfortable cafeteria, and its health center is taken care of by the availability of first-aid facilities. A moot court, in the case of law students, gives a simulation of a court of law for the honing of skills of the aspiring lawyers. 

The courses offered by Dr. BPS College, Agra are diversified. There are 13 courses in total that include all graduate and postgraduate programs. Some undergraduate courses that are provided at this college are: BA, B.Sc. in Agriculture, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Biology, and B.Com. The college offers an M.Sc. in Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics, and a Master's in Commerce for aspirants who want to go into higher studies. Additionally, the college provides PGDCA and PGDBM as postgraduate diploma courses. Except for the two above mentioned diploma courses, all other courses have taken 1536 students altogether. 

Normally, admission in most of the programs is relatively a hassle-free affair as the college follows the academic merit of the candidates. However, for admitting a candidate, besides the basic merit in academics, B. Sc. Agriculture conducts interviews as part of its admission process to pick up a candidate.
