Dr DY Patil's Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute was established in June 2003. The School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics has been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and is a constituent unit of Padmashree Dr. DY Patil Deemed University, Navi Mumbai.
