The college has to make the environment conducive to the holistic development of students’ personalities, the institutes ensure the provision of all basic necessities in the hostels which include 24-hour power backup electricity supply, safe (potable) drinking water, a well-lit, and adequately ventilated spacious rooms, equipped with bedsteads, study tables, with Wi-Fi communication facility. It also provides air conditioners at a nominal cost to the students on demand. Dr. I T Group has well well-furnished separate hostel facility for boys with parental care and affection. The hostels can cater to a large number of students in terms of capacity for boys: 160 seats.

The college has a Library that has been primarily designed to meet the requirements of the Institute’s academic programs. The library has over the years acquired a large assortment of books, magazines, and periodicals. The concept and aim of a library are to provide the right environment, appropriate facilities, and motivating services to support high-quality teaching and learning and associated administrative processes. Dr. IT Group has followed the herein-stated aim and concept. The library is stacked with 7260 books relating to Management and Technology. Leading Journals, Periodicals, Magazines, and a host of reading materials including industry studies, annual reports of various companies, company profiles, product profiles, project reports, and reference materials received from industry and international agencies are regularly subscribed.

The college is well equipped with all the sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. Students and faculty members enjoy various sports and freshen up their minds for new ventures.

The college has an IT Centre that has been designed to provide the students with awareness about the latest facilities available in the Industry. The computer labs have 150 computers, an IBM server, and a secured network through firewalls with optical fiber connectivity. The Internet speed at present is 3 Mbps which is upgraded as per the requirements of students and staff.

The college has a cafeteria that overlooks the green surroundings that not only provides a pleasant view of the campus- ambiance for academic pursuits but also enables students and the faculty to get an opportunity to relax, think, and discuss academic or non-academic topics. The cafeteria caters to the needs of the students, staff, and visitors by providing a variety of hygienic and nourishing food items. It provides a wide variety of delicious pure vegetarian balanced diets at reasonable rates.

The college has auditorium has been playing a significant role in fulfilling the cultural and intellectual pursuits of the students thereby promoting a level of the personality of the students. To provide multifaceted development to each of our students, the Group of Institutes keeps holding numerous events, including Spardha, Stand-Out day, etc. The multipurpose and commodious auditorium has a seating capacity of 600 and it is equipped with the latest audio-visual aids, tools, and appliances boosting the delight of the students, and refining and sharpening their intellect.

The college has Transport a fleet of own buses that operate to and fro Chandigarh, Patiala, Ambala, Panchkula, Mohali, and Dera-Bassi to facilitate students’ journeys and thereby ensure punctuality.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

 The College has Lakshya’ to launch our passing out students into the ‘Real World’ by helping them to bag suitable and deserving placements. Our Placement Cell, Lakshya performs this pleasant task with zeal and acts as an interface between the institutes and industry. The ‘Lakshya’ has also been increasingly involved in ‘on-campus’ recruitment and has facilitated job placements for students in reputed organizations like Reliance Communications, Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Fullerton Securities, Future Group, HCL, Morepen, Dr. ITM Limited. Active participation of faculty and students on emerging trends & managerial topics provides an extra edge to students to enhance their skills, knowledge, and employability. Lakshya conducts regular classroom training programs on topics related to the improvement of the student’s career prospects, communication skills, aptitude skills, and interview skills, in order to face interviews in different organizations and other competitions. It arranges campus interviews for the direct recruitment of final-year students. The Cell supports, encourages, and guides the final-year students to participate in the off-campus Interviews. The Cell also organizes work-shops on both online and offline aptitude test programs, group discussions, and interview techniques (also mock interviews) to enable the students to practice the same and execute at their best during their final interviews in an organization.
