Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College, Solapur, or DVMGMC, Solapur, is one of the most rising medical institutions in the state, established in the year 1963. Admission to the MBBS course is through NEET UG, which is a National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The applicant needs to clear NEET and subsequently appear in the counselling held for admission. Admission to postgraduate courses, such as MD and MS, will be through the NEET PG entrance test.
