If we talk about government colleges offering Computer Science Engineering, then, the admission is mostly based on JEE Mains/JEE Advanced entrance exams. Then, a centralized counselling process is organized either by different state statutory bodies or National statutory bodies. Sorry to say dear but government engineering college doesn't conduct any entrance examination by their own. You have to give JEE Mains or JEE Advance examination for admission in government engineering college. Otherwise you can give state government entrance examination which result will allow to admission in government engineering colleges. The examinations are WBJEE for West Bengal, MHTCET for Maharashtra, tseamcet for Telengana etc.
