Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH), Barpeta, is a prestigious medical college of Assam in India. It offers different courses of medicine in both undergraduate and postgraduate level. FAAMCH follows an uptight procedure for admission in order to pick up the cream from its different medical courses.
The admission procedure for FAAMCH usually coincides with the timetables of the national medical entrance exams. Undergraduate admissions are based on a process that starts in February with the application of NEET UG, while postgraduate admissions start about around September with the application of NEET PG. The dates may vary slightly every year, therefore, the prospective students are advised to check from the official websites of the respective entrance exams.
For the MBBS course, the key requirement is the clearing of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the compulsory subjects. The candidates must also be 17 years or above as on December 31st of the admission year. For postgraduate courses (MD/MS), the candidates must clear their MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
FAAMCH considers two principal entrance examinations for admissions:
1. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for MBBS admission
2. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET PG) for MD/MS admission
These exams test the knowledge of candidates in the respective subject and ability to learn medicine. These exams require preparation with a good grasp of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for NEET UG, and advanced medical concepts for NEET PG.
Application Procedure
Application procedure in FAAMCH varies for various courses:
For MBBS:
1. Get registered and appear for the NEET UG exam.
2. Fill up the NEET UG application form, usually available from February to March.
3. As soon as the NEET UG results are announced, selected candidates can apply for FAAMCH through the state counseling process.
4. Report for the counseling rounds according to the schedule announced by the state authorities.
5. In case of allotment of a seat, report to FAAMCH for document verification and admission processes.
For MD/MS programs:
1. Get registered and appear for the NEET PG entrance test.
2. Complete the NEET PG application form, usually between September to October.
3. After the NEET PG results are released, those who are eligible can apply for FAAMCH under the centralized counseling process.
4. Report for the counseling rounds according to the schedule of the concerned authorities.
5. In the event of selection, report before FAAMCH for verification of documents and for confirming the admission.
Degree wise Admission Process
MBBS: FAAMCH offers 125 seats in its MBBS course. It makes admission based on the candidate's performance in the NEET UG exam. The admissions take place strictly according to government-sanctioned quotas and does not offer any management quota seats. The candidates must pass the NEET UG exam with the required cut-off marks in order to become eligible for admission.
MD/MS: The college offers various postgraduate courses with a total of 48 seats in various specializations. The admission to MD/MS courses is based on NEET PG. A breakup of seats available:

To take admission in paramedical courses candidate has to cross three steps of registration .One is basic registration ,second is code registration ,third is final registration. After crossing all three steps candidate should take admission in paramedical courses.After final registration an amount of rupees be deposited which is non refundable.

First of all you have not mention your place to where you want to take admission in MBBS through NEET 2021. So it is difficult to say about anything about admission in MBBS through Neet 2021. Because according to previous years record shows that admission in MBBS through Neet that varies from one state to another and year to year.
In general it may be said that according to all India quota 15% and state quota 85% there is a expected assuming marks and cutoff for 2021 NEET-50th percentile for general/e w s candidate
45th percentile for general PWD candidate.
40th percentile for SC ST OBC candidates
This expected assumption may be changed according to the number of pass out students, availability of seat , difficulty level of questions and number of appearing students in the examination.
