Placements: Placements in the college are average, and it depends on the course you take. Many courses have 100% placements. There are good placements in B.Sc. computer science, bachelor of vocational courses and bachelor of technology.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus, and you can use it on your PC. Facilities and infrastructure of the college are good. It is ecofriendly and offers a pollution-free environment. Some classrooms are equipped with a projector. Canteen is not too good, and only a few items are available in it. Sports and extracurricular activities are also conducted. There is also a class of games per week.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are kind, helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching quality is much better than other government colleges. They give a daily home assignment for students, which is quite different from other colleges. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.

Fergusson college Pune:-

Placements: Percentage of students being placed is relatively less as most of the students opt for a Master's course after B.Sc. Some of the recruiting companies are Sun Pharma, Accenture, et al. However, many students go for internships during the course in institutions like IISER, IIT, etc.

Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped with a large number of instruments and facilities. The department of Zoology has it's own museum which showcases hundreds of preserved specimens. The classrooms are provided with Wi-Fi and projectors. The library has a collection of several thousands of books, some reputable journals and also provides with the e-book facility.

Faculty: As an Autonomous college (now a deemed university), the syllabus is updated regularly as per the current trends and neccesities of the field. Most of the teachers are highly experienced and willing to bring new things into classroom teaching. Fergusson  College,  Pune provides Bachelor of Science to students in almost 13 streams such as Biotechnology, Computer Science, Microbiology, Animation, Environmental Science,  Chemistry, Botany and others.

The first year course Fees is INR 11,135 .

The duration of the course is 3 years .

Admission is given on the basis of marks scored by the students at +2 level .

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  :

Students must have passed with Science stream from any recognized board of education.

Students must have scored minimum 50-60% marks .

#NOTE : AS the Cut-off goes high , students need to score more than 85% and more .

As you have mentioned that you belong to Bihar and hence you have your OBC-NCL certificate of that particular state and you are willing to apply in Pune for Fergusson College and also you are looking for OBC-NCL seat in this particular college. The admission process in Fergusson College, Pune for Bsc Physics is totally based on merit in your 12th board exams. There are no entrance exams conducted for getting admission to undergraduate courses in this college.

The eligibility criteria for getting admission into this institution to pursue B.Sc in Physics is that the candidate should have passed 12th board exams with Science stream & Physics, Chemistry as core subjects among other subjects from a recognized institution.

1) The highest salary offered during placements in Fergusson college is around 5 lakhs & lowest is 2.5 lakhs per annum as per the latest reports & in Modern college, the lowest can range from 1-2.5 lakhs p.a & the highest salary package can be around 6 - 7.80 lakhs p.a.
