College infrastructure is not upto to the mark Now they have started renovating the college so it’s upgrading but till now infrastructure wise it was little degraded as they only had 1 lift in the whole campus no proper airconditioners
Academics wise the college is very good It provides proper lectures and the professors and staff is also well educated, I m studying BCOM and it’s my last year so till now I didn’t find any difficulties with the academics part
Since this is my last YEAR I don’t know much about placements that my college offers, but since kishinchand chellaram is a reputed college in mumbai I feel the placement it offers would be good with a decent package
Overall, it has a good infrastructure, and the college provides all the necessary facilities. Our college has a decent library. It has no sports room or gym facilities. The labs and environment are excellent.
The quality of teaching is good, and the teachers are very helpful in academics. They are cooperative in terms of advice and support in every situation. The course curriculum is designed by HSNC University.
The placement cell at the college is good enough. For BCOM, various companies offer jobs with an average package of 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. The college has a placement committee, which makes the process very easy and pleasant for the students.
College is near to road thus there is no campus don't expect any high quality materials in lab also it is just general computer labs are quite small and get overluy crowded.College is clean by the way and has a canteen just at entrance food is okay and cost is a bit high considering it is in Mumbai it is fine.
Learn by yourslef and it will be much better for you teacher are just there to showcase some ppts and it's done their attitude are way higher than what they teach be careful of how you speak and whom too.Study by yourself just attend colleges and be freindly with teachers or else they will definitely reflect in your results.
You will recieve placements at the end of your final year before 2-3 months drom exam there are some general companies that visit such as tcs, wipro it keeps on changing but few are common.Expect average salary of 2.5 -3 lpa and 5 lpa for max percentage of placements where decent just hone your skills and you will shine through.
It was worth for money I completed my degree between 80k to 1 lakh so the return on investment was decent also you will be getting placements and college has decent reputation too. So depending upon money wise it was satisfactory.
Students are good there tends to happen quite fests such as kiran and other students here are good to engaged in. Teachers are good if you are good behave good in front of them and be decent else they will show you hell.If you want something done get ready for quite a bit of rounds to that office since spewd of work here is quite slow and support can be said below average.
The campus is just a building just like most other Mumbai colleges. The classrooms are modern with smart boards and AC's. The college has a common library with HR College. The college doesn't have wifi.
The teacher are friendly, well qualified and approachable. For BMS the faculty is very qualified and we also have visiting faculty for some subjects whoare very good too. Although BMS won't make you job ready.
To be honest placements are not that good for BMS not just for KC but for almost every college. although companies like KPMG, JP Morgan etc come to campus. it totally depends on the individual for the placemens, if you have a good profile and solid acads you will end up somewhere.
College provides a good infrastructure. Located in one othe most prime places in places in Mumbai. Do not expect a campus with ground in Mumbai. Other than that the classroom are modern and well maintained.
The curriculum is very updated and the the teachers are very good and approachable. Although remember that college no longer comes under Mumbai University and few people of my batch had problems getting admissions abroad because of this.
The placements are not that great. The college does not help you get internships. During placements companies like EY and KPMG come on campus but only a few students get places out of the entire batch.
This college infrastructure is the best from the colleges which I have seen. As it supports all necessary facilities for student and teaching purposes. Classroom here have ACs Air Conditioners, smart boards, Projectors, screens, white boards in order to prevent dust. There are lot of classrooms there which can accommodate all courses and all batches. Schedules are fixed, it never mixed up with other lectures rarely it gets mixed but always find a solution for it. College has free wifi for all.
I'm studying Bsc CS (Computer Science) as my aim is in AI & robotics. Teachers & professors are well knowledge & they teach efficiently. They solve all doubts & are helpful. Our syllabus is always updated with recent softwares this is main reason why I choose this college, everytime you get to learn new things and you are with the modern technologies. There different projects done in order to get updated with recent developments in Computer Science.
All Students from our college has always got ready placements from college and outside college. There are lot of famous alumni from our college. From the people who have passed out they have no complaints and always positive and exciting responses and memories.
It is worthy to spend on this course as it's affordable and valuable. More knowledge and experience building is provided.
About activities and events our college is always filled with it. Our college mainly focuses on studies and other than that it is also active in sports events co and extra curriculum. All facilities are supportive , you never get any complaints.
This college is the best.
Its just a building, that is always under construction. So it gets very difficult Corridors are so small that if two people stand, there won't be space left to pass. Main campus is good though but they have a separate campus for media department which is just a building
College faculty is good but most of them are visiting faculties So time table is never fixed which is not okay because people cannot schedule there day, it changes everyday and we get to know one day prior about the tt
Has a placement cell, they reach out to companies of your choice. However it's your own experience and efforts that will get you the internships and jobs because they don't guarantee a 100 percent placement
38k for one year for bmm It's not much but after seeing the facilities, they are providing nothing, they take fee for a gym khana but there is no gym khana, they take fee for extra activities but there are none
The crowd is good. People are nice and supportive, seniors are also very good. The staff that is there is very supportive and wants students to grow, they only problem is the management, and the campus
It used to be a good college till last year, but the management really needs to improve!
though it isn't a campus and is limited to one huge building, but KC has sufficient number of classrooms and one large auditorium. the library is open everyday and is well maintained. the canteen is a bit pricey but never the less a great place for hangouts.
to be honest, I feel Kc is quite underrated in terms of teaching. I can vouch for the teaching staff, especially Psychology and say it's one of the best. it also offers indigenous courses like Gender issues and equips you deal with social realtities.
being in Psychology, we all know that there are limited placements, but there are many for other courses. i have seen many companies come to the college. there is a career counselor as well. for more information, teachers are always there to help us
the fees is the bare minimum, from 4k to 6k an year.
