The Food Craft Institute (FCI), Mysore is established jointly by the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka which is managed by the Board of Governors. The Food Craft Institute (FCI), Mysore offers seven diplomas and craftsmanship courses. The FCI Mysore courses are the core areas of food and beverage operations including Diplomas in Food Production, Bakery and confectionery, Food and Beverage Service, Front office operations, Housekeeping Operations and Craftsmanship Courses in Food Production and Patisserie and Food & Beverage Service.
The courses offered by the FCI are under the approval of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Noida. To get admission to the Food Craft Institute, Students should pass the 12th class for the diplomas (10+2 system) and the 10th class for the craftsmanship courses. Also, students must have also studied the English language as one of the subjects.

The FCI, Mysore is located at the Kannada Karanji Building, Dasara Exhibition Grounds, Mysore, Karnataka. The nearest Railway station is Mysuru Junction which is located 3.1 km away from the institution. CPC bus stop is situated 3.6 km from the FCI Mysore which is the the nearest bus stop.

Food Craft Institute Mysore provides 5 diploma courses and 2 craftsmanship courses in the hospitality field. Students will be considered for the Food Craft Institute only if they qualify in the required educational qualification. There will be no age limit for getting admission into the Food Craft Institute, Mysore. Students awaiting mark sheets on the qualifying exam can also apply, However, their admission is subject to qualifying the examination and submission of relevant documents.

The filled-in FCI Mysore application has to be sent through post or by e-mail fcimysuru@gmail.com.along with scanned copies of self-attested certificates.

Food Craft Institute Mysore Admission - Points to be noted
The following are some of the important points which have to be noted by the students.
All the Diploma and Craftsman courses are for both Boys and Girls.
Reservation of seats for candidates will be allocated as per Government rules and regulations.
