1. I'm studying electrical engineering because I'd like to know the generation of electricity. The quality of teaching is good, but not understandable. 2. I don't know. If I understand the topics I study, then it'll make my job-ready.
1. Excellent. Many students have been placed in big companies. 2. I can say above 80%. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 8lakh and was given to an EXTC student. 3. I'm still in the 3rd year, so I don't have the answer.
1. Rs. 1.5lakh 2. Yes. Because the facilities are teaching really hard to increase our intellectual property.
1. I don't live in the campus, but I'm sure it's great. 2. The students, the teachers and the support staff are friendly and supportive. Some live in Raigarh district, some in Pune and some in Mumbai.
No. That's it. Thank you. ?
Infrastructure is pretty good here. The campus is not very huge but quite good space. The canteen is not so admiring but they serve good food at reasonable prices. The college also maintains a good hygiene.
They are strict about academics. Bunking classes and getting away with work is not an option. Since the college is affiliated to Mumbai University the curriculum is followed as per the guidelines of Mumbai University.
I am yet to get placed but there are quite a lot of companies they recruit from here. However companies demand good skills to get you a dream package. The company that makes mass recruitment is TCS Ninja with average package of 3.25 lakhs.
The fees comparing to the other Mumbai University affiliated college is quite high.
There are two yearly fests and small events(related to studies) take place quite frequently.
College is good if you are a person of academics and keep your teachers happy. But if you like to create nuisances it is going to get difficult here.
Necessary facilities such as hostel laboratories sport centers are available and is always clean and hygienic. Different variety of food is available. Students also have access to read and borrow books in the library
Teachers are very good at their respective fields and they see to it that there is a disciplined atmosphere maintained in the classroom. The topic is well thought through presentations and practical approach
Placements have been consistent throughout the years. Many students with decent GPA get placed at big companies. College helps the student is preparing and is always encouraging students to sit for placements
The money was worth it
The college oraganizes fests every annual year to engage students in different activities
The college has great infrastructure. It has all the necessary infrastructures and equipments. The labs are well maintained with working laptops and LAN connection. Projector is provided for each class.
The quality of teaching is really nice. Teachers make use of proper presentations and slides. They are well experienced and conduct regular assignments and tests which help a lot in the end semester examinations.
I am still in second year so I don't have exact idea of placement but from what I have heard from seniors is that placements are good. Average package would be around 3-4 LPA and some even get around 7LPA
The course cost per year is around Rs.150000. Yes the college is worth the fees and the college also has a good reputation.
The college has some clubs you can participate in like robotics, music, coding etc.
College Infrastructure is excellent.Wifi facility is available in campus premices.Classrooms have good ventilation.Classrooms have projector screens which helps in explaining the concepts more efficiently
Relatively good teaching staff. 1st year comes under humanities. Hence they are a bit strict on marks and attandance point. But it definitely helps in scoring good cgpi. Other than academics , placement related programmes are also conducted so that maximum students are placed.
College provides good placement facilities.Generally the Computer and IT department students obtain high salary packeges. On an average, 4.5 lakh per year is the salary offered for the campus placements(mech depaetment).
1.4 lakh per year is the fee for engineering course.
Campus is excellent.
Other activities like Robocon, ISHRAE, SAE BAJA give a lot of practical knowledge. This gives a good experience of working in team.
Yes ,our collage have All necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipment.there are more than five lab for subject wise for each semester.we have smart boards and projector for each class room ,Good internet connection available in each labs .
Many of the teachers in the collage are with 5 or 6 year of experience and they have very excellent knowledge .The teachers are very strict in discipline.curriculum is also updated and including recent development in the field.
Since I am still in second year I am not fully aware about placement but with feedback form senior I think good companies do come to our college and salary packages are around 7 8 lakhs for IT student and something around 3 or 4 lakhs fir mechanical students.
Course cost per year is around Rs 150000
Yes, our college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. There are more than 6 labs for each field of engineering, with expert faculties to guide us, we have phd professors also in our campus. And all the equipment in our lab is renewed with the advancement of technology. Classroom, labs are spacious. We have smart boards and projectors in each class, good internet connection in all labs, neat ac library with 2 floors, 2 hostel buildings and a cafeteria open for 7hrs.
I'm pursuing electrical engineering bcoz i was interested in that since 11th std. It's a main stream subject and you will never run out of categories to work in. The faculties especially in my field in my college are very good at their job. They make sure everything is covered and our doubts are cleared. They are very knowledgeable, systematic in work and easy to approach kind of people. Yes our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes to the 3rd question.
Since i am still in 2nd year i am not fully aware of placement. But with the reviews of my senior i sense that good companies do come to our college and they are satisfied with the quality of our students. Only 60 to 50 %of the students participate in the placement and in that mostly 70% students are placed. IT company gives the highest package. Not sure hiw much. Average package in my views is 4 lakhs. We get placement training from 2nd yr itself like aptitude problems solving etc. So yes.
We are paying 1.25 to 1.5 lakhs per year. This is for general category students. There are reservations too for the minority. I am not saying that i am getting 100% money worth experience but its still not bad as quality of education is good. What concerns me is that schedule is hectic. Time for our extra curricular activities like for project, and our interests is less.
Our college campus is not much spacious but it has everything that a student needs. Student can engage in lits of clubs like robotics, dance, music, etc. Students are always occupied, teachers are strict and knowledgeable, staffs are systematic in their work..so no leniency. There is a ground, 2 hostels and a church in our campus. And a mosque beside our college. The location is safe and near to bus stand and we have share rickshaws to the station. We also have cctv cameras installed in our area.
Even though our college is known for its strictness and discipline the outcome has always been fruitful.
