Dear Sir / Ma'm, the cut off for the aforesaid college in the 15 % all india quota counselling, 2019, was 588 for general, 541 for ST and 531 for SC candidates. The cut-offs in the state counselling for the same was 561 for UNR gen, 552 for LOC Gen, 443 for SC, 457 for ST and 471 for BC category students. Dear student, according to the cutoff list released in 2018, 469 marks by a BC category student secured a seat in Gandhi Medical College (govt). There aren't any fees difference for state quota and all India quota in Osmania or Gandhi as well. The quota works as the management fixes the seats percentage which must be filled by the talked about category and hence the maths works out to fill the seats with the categories' own rank. But the fees remains the same.

Both of them have advantages and disadvantages but both of them are good and old colleges but Indira Gandhi medical College is established in 1967 and govt medical College is 1947 approx. Both of them are old and very good colleges. But the no.of seats in Gandhi are 150 and in government colleges are 200.

As both of this are govt college, you can choose any one of them.

GMC has the long history and wide popularity among maharashtra along with mp and cg, while IGMC is known for its mayo hospital which is one of the oldest Hospital in vidharbha.

But as history says, students choose GMC as the 1st option and IGMC as second. GMC is also the administrative centre after grant medical college mumbai, this puts the GMC in the row of GMC mumbai and bjmc pune.

So, as per my concern choose GMC as the 1st option as elder brother among both.
