Hi,
Your score is 450 in neet which is good but to get admission in government medical colleges you should have maximum score 520. ... With 450 marks you will get private medical colleges.
There are many factors that determine a good score in NEET. This year there is a tremendous increase in the number of candidates who appeared in the NEET exam. Therefore, a score between 450-500 is considered a good score in NEET.

In medical field, college doesn't matter that much at UG leval. If you have done your MBBS from very prestigious institute, but you failed to gain knowledge and skills then it's over.
So, your main focus will be on clinical skills and knowledge. And if your aim is to gain knowledge and skills, not any college is going to stop you. Choose any according to your convenience and budget.
It will not be suggested to spend a huge amount on MBBS. Because you will need money in future for your PG preparation and many other things. Choose wisely!
Keep location of college, distance from your home, FEEs & cost of living in mind while taking decision.
Thanks!!

Hello aspirant,
Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Kathirkamam, Puducherry is a government medical college. According to previous year cutoffs during All India quota counselling, the closing AIR was 11728. So for OBC category, it may go around AIR 13k.
But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So this year cutoffs may change.
Hope your query is resolved.

# Caste Category of the students.
# Number of seats available.
# Number of students appeared in the exam.

One thing about Gandhi that stood out to me the most is the infrastructure. Despite being a government college, it has good infrastructure: all the labs are fully equipped. And the libraries are well ventilated, spacious halls providing a huge collection of books. We also have huge lecture gallery classrooms for different subjects where benches and smart boards are in good condition, We also have different grounds for different sports. Boys and girls hostel are in good condition and very hygenic
Our college has a good infrastructure and all the necessary facilities and equipment. Our library and sport centres are good too. The classrooms, laboratories and hostels need to be improved with their facilities and decorum. The food quality also needs improvement.
The college infrastucture can be said as good. We are provided with many facilities like a big library, cool sport centres but we also lag in few other facilities like average canteen arena and not so hygienic food.
