Ganesh Lal Agrawal College, Palamu (GLA) is a well-regarded constituent college, set up in Daltonganj, Jharkhand. The college has been catering to the educational needs of the region for nearly seven decades. GLA is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college conducts a plethora of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): The college offers B.Sc programs in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Computer Applications, and Biotechnology. The admission is based on the marks secured in the 10+2 examination, with weightage mostly on the science subjects.
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): Admissions to the one-year B.Ed program with an approved intake of 100 seats take place accordingly to merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection procedure follows the state government's policy and that of the university.
M.Sc: There are courses offered in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology at the M.Sc. level. Admission to these programs will be granted on the basis of performance in the relevant undergraduate programs.
MA: Admission into the various MA programs is based on the respective undergraduate scores in Economics, English, Hindi, Geography, Philosophy, Psychology, History, Political Science, and Urdu.
Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable and their teaching quality is very good. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes students industry ready. Semester exams are not very hard but the level of question is high. 90% students pass in the exams.
Basically I am not studying there ..however, I know few people who are pursuing their study from this college.... keeping cost benefit analysis at mind .....you can consider it....but not mandatory.....
Much more cources are there.its all upon students choice related to their future.yes it's make job ready.curriculum is also updated and teachers are also very qualified.In this area my college is best for females and even males also.
