Postgraduate Students currently will be paid a stipend of Rs. 30,000/- per month in the first year, Rs.35,000/- in the second year and Rs 40,000/- in the third year.

yes exam is conducted for admission to BPharm. University organize it's own exam. State organize state level entrance exam. As you mentioned Guwhati in your tag, you can appear ASSAM state entrance exam or University BPharm exam for your state. You can also go for other state options.

Richa, Gauhati Medical College doesn't have B.Pharmacy as a course. It offers MBBS as an Undergraduate course and MD/MS in various specialisations as PG Course. You can check that at: http://www.gmchassam.gov.in/ . If you want to study B.Pharmacy in Assam, there are 10 Govt.
