1)The stipend for st johns medical college -
Postgraduate Students currently will be paid a stipend of Rs. 30,000/- per month in the first year, Rs.35,000/- in the second year and Rs 40,000/- in the third year.

The eligibility criteria set for the postgraduate MS, MD and PGD programmes requires candidates to have completed and possess an MBBS degree or equivalent qualifications along with a valid NEET PG score card.
A total of 12 research programmes are offered at the doctoral courses which includes 6 DM degree programmes and 6 M.Ch degree programmes with the entire duration of GMCH Guwahati M.Ch/DM courses being 3 years.
The institute offers a total of 28 specialisation programmes at the postgraduate courses which are 16 MD degree programmes and 6 MS degree programmes that last for about 3 years total and 6 PGD diploma programmes of 2 years.
Candidates must have completed 12th standard in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics along with english as their optional subjects from a recognised board along with a valid NEET scorecard.
