Girideepam Institute of Advanced learning, commonly known as GIAL, was initiated in the year 2005 and is located in Kottayam, Kerala. This affiliated college, recognised from AICTE New Delhi, provides a wide combination of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Total student enrolment of GIAL Kottayam is 913 and total intake faculty members are 21. At present the institute offers 14 courses in 8 programmes in disciplines such as Business administration, Commerce, English, computer application and etc. Due to its culture of excellence in learning and multifaceted growth, GIAL has emerged as one of the leading and popular institutions preferred by the learners in search of higher learning institution in Kerala.

The institute boasts of providing various opportunities that make the experience of the students better. The accommodation provisions on the campus include extensive hostels’ facilities for the boys and girls respectively in order to assure safe and discipline accommodation. The library of the university is equipped with large number of books and journals and newspapers and periodicals which are necessary for the students and faculty members. Concerning physical exercise, GIAL’s sports facilities, such as basketball, volleyball, football, as well as cricket, are presence of. This college also has well equipped computer laboratory with latest models of computer and the soft ware that are necessary for the development of the student’s technological skills. Other facilities of the school include a canteen where people can get vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, an ultra-modern Hall for events and productions, several Laboratories for practicals among them.

The courses offered at GIAL are a wide range starting from 14 full course programmes within the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The academic offering of the institute includes BBA, BCOM, BA English, BCA, MBA, and many more along with array of M.Com specialisations.
