24 MonthsBachelor of Pharmacy (Practice) is a bridge course, which provides additional qualifications and the graduate degree to the Diploma registered and working pharmacists. It provides a platform for Diploma graduates working in community and hospital pharmacies to enhance the professional skills, knowledge and advanced speciality in the field of pharmacy. It also provides an opportunity for students to undertake advanced research studies and qualifications in pharmacy practice areas. They will upgrade their qualification by continuing their study at weekends.
The duration of the course shall be of two academic years with each year spread over a period of not less than 180 working days.
1. A pass in Diploma course in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
2. A registered pharmacist.
3. A minimum of four years of pharmacy practice experience in a community or hospital pharmacy –
