GitaRam Institute of Management, Berhampore (GIM) is one of the most famous educational institutions started in 2001. The institute is spread over 2 acres of land in Berhampore, Hooghly, West Bengal. GIM is an affiliated college that offers a wide range of management and technical programs. 

Facilities at GitaRam Institute of Management make the learning experience rich. The Institute's library is well-stocked with references, project reports, and periodicals. It has a sitting arrangement for 40 students at a time. Computer laboratories are also available with facilities to provide hands-on experience in the latest software and technologies. Further, the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, which gives seamless connectivity to the academic pursuits. GitaRam Institute of Management also has separate boys and girls hostels, which provide comfortable accommodation to the outstation students. The seminar hall of 1500 sq. ft. is used for various academic and cultural events, with a seating capacity of 300. For medical needs, students have access to the Gitaram Multi Speciality Hospital, located just adjacent to the campus. However, the institute does provide transport facilities from the town center to the campus in order to make commutation easier for students and staff alike.

In terms of courses, there are a total of 4 full-time courses across disciplines. These include three undergraduate programs - BBA, BCA, BHM, all of which are honours courses, and one postgraduate program in the form of a PGDM. 

The admission procedures at GitaRam Institute of Management differ from one course to another. Undergraduate courses like BBA (Hons), BCA (Hons), and BHM are merit-based, formed by the institute and conducted by looking at the candidates' performance in the 10+2 examination. Admission into its two-year full-time PGDM course happens through the MAT, a quite widely used aptitude test for admission to management courses. GIM has been dedicated to talent incubation through a heterogeneous student body and an industry-oriented curriculum.
