GitaRam Institute of Management, Berhampore (GIM) has earned repute as an educational institution offering various management and technical programs. The admission process at the Institute aims to find deserving candidates for its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The Institute takes a very holistic approach to admissions, judging on parameters such as academic performance and entrance test scores depending on the program. In the case of undergraduate programs like BBA (Hons), BCA (Hons), and BHM, admission is on a merit basis. The performance of the students at the 10+2 level is the criterion for Graduate-level courses.
This ensures that students with a sound background in academics are brought into these programs. The admission criteria for the Postgraduate Program- the two-year full-time PGDM, takes a different route. For PGDM admissions, GIM accepts the management Aptitude Test (MAT). MAT is the most popular test of this kind, accepted across India for admissions to the management courses.
