The Gopal Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (GKCET), was set up in the year 1999 located at the lap of Jeypore, Koraput district of Odisha. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & and accredited to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC),India. GKCET is an engineering institute located in Mangalore and occupies a total area of 72 acres, currently having around 500 students. IIT has a faculty member of 37 members & offers 7 B.Tech. Streams,programmes in different fields of engineering.
The Gopal Krishna College of Engineering and Technology provides various state of the art facilities that supplements the learning process of the students. Each department has its well-equipped laboratory on the campus so that the students undergo actual practical training. A modern library is an informational center, which offers the students a vast choice of books, magazines and electronic resources. Motivated and primarily concerned with the welfare of students, GKCET has a well-equipped gymnasium manned qualified trainers. This college also has an important commitment to the care of students with a health centre with first aid facilities. Students of both the sexes are privileged to access different sections of hostel facilities within the compound, and this makes students comfortable.

Gopal Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Koraput, is a constituent college affiliated to the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology and approved by AICTE, as well as accredited by NAAC.
