Degree wise Admission Process
BA: Government College, Bassa offers a B.A. course. For admission into the B.A. course, one is admitted based on marks obtained in the 10+2 exam. Admission is open to students who have passed higher secondary level with arts subjects or similar. Some colleges require a cut-off percentage of marks for taking admission in a particular BA course.
B.Com: GCB offers the Bachelor of Commerce course for those wishing to pursue a career in the field of business and finance. The admission for B.Com is done on the basis of the merit list prepared using the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. Preference is given to students who have studied Commerce or related subjects in their higher secondary, but students from other streams may also be eligible.
B.Sc: Government College, Bassa provides the B.Sc. Admission in B.Sc is generally merit-based as it considers the marks obtained in 10+2 examination with science subjects. The cut-off may vary for different science streams like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students who have passed 10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) can apply.
