Some colleges also conduct direct admission to B. Ed program on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in the qualifying degree exam. The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will have to visit the campus, fill the admission form, submit the documents and pay the admission fee to complete the admission.

The admission process in the B. Ed programme is both an entrance-based and merit-based process where some institutions conduct an entrance exam for the eligible candidates and some consider the marks of the candidates in their qualifying degree examination.

Administration and the university.  Government College of Education at Komarapalayam is a NAAC Accredited institution with ‘B’ Grade. The college was started during the year 1955-56 and housed in the Government High School, Komarapalayam.
