Hi Subharup,
At
Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Serampore
, the students can apply for a change in branch under certain conditions. These policies are usually based on academic performance, seat availability, and institutional regulations. Usually, students who want to shift to another branch have to obtain high academic grades during the first year and then apply for a transfer on merit.
However, the exact rules and procedures for branch change at GCETT Serampore are not mentioned on official platforms or public resources. The college administration can be contacted directly, or its official notices and guidelines can be reviewed for accurate and updated information

With a 97.86 percentile in MHT CET, you have excellent options.
While Walchand College of Engineering is reputed, consider exploring other options for better placement and potential sports opportunities. GCOE Nagpur's average placement might be a concern.
Prioritize colleges with strong industry connections, good placement records, and active sports culture.
Consider these factors:
Some potential options to explore:
Hello,
Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology (ACCET) Karaikudi is best as per my idea.
Each college within and around Tamilnadu will have its own advantages and disadvantages based on where it is located. Here are some benefits of attending this university.
Even if you chose a technical field, there are many other things you can study.
A reputable government college should be in charge of organising all significant events, such as a conference, symposium, many club activities, etc. If you are the type of guy to participate in these activities, I can tell you that you will succeed as a jewel once you have earned your degree in a non-technical profession.
Thank You

Hi,
It is difficult to interpret rank from given marks, percentage or percentile as the examination held depends on various factors like how many candidates appeared , category of the candidate etc. I suggest you to wait for the ranks results that will help you interpret your college more efficiently.
The college of engineering Pune, is one of the oldest college located in Maharashtra, which was established in 1854. It is a great college with lots of opportunities. You will experience great college life and the placements are also good.
The cutoff for computer engineering and related fields ranges between 7000 to 7500 for home state and upto 1000 for all over India.
I hope it clarifies your doubt.
Thank you!
Hello student!
if we are talking about exposure then let me tell you that without knowledge exposure means nothing. In college life students must be a part of the herd to learn something from your environment and end up being the unique in that herd.
We cannot compare where you can get more exposure whether in private or government college because it only depends on your environment and the people living around you. If you realise, in government colleges students come from different community after securing a particular rank in country level entrance exams. They have knowledge, and when you experience things, you understand the problem and with the help of exposure, you'll be able to find the solution to that problem.
So hope you get the thing that it is not about private college or government. It's about how much you are interactive and understand any situation.
Good luck.
I've completed my B.Tech in this college. Speaking about the college infrastructure everything basic necessities were available like projectors, digital classrooms, Wi-Fi, etc. There is hostel for both boys and girls and cleanliness and security is also highly maintained.
College has necessary infrastructure facilities. Facilities likes Labs and Other Equipment but Most Of the Facilities are available And They Have Also Introduced IOT lab this year. Infrastructure is developed and maintained as well.
College campus is good. College is having pretty good playground, if you're sports enthusiastic, then there are special playground for football, cricket and tennis. WiFi facility is available in each department building. Library is well maintained. Canteen is available in campus and is well hygienic.
