Government College of Nursing, Kozhikode Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Government College of Nursing, Kozhikode, is one of Kerala's premier institutes of nursing studies in India. It provides students with a wide array of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma nursing courses aimed at budding health care professionals. Application Process

The admission process for the Government College of Nursing, Kozhikode, is different for different programs:

For B.Sc Nursing:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing: Four-year undergraduate course with an annual admission of 100 students. Admission is made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology being compulsory subjects. The course gives a well-rounded background in nursing science.

M.Sc Nursing: Five specialized M.Sc Nursing courses with 6 seats each:

4. M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing
5. M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing
To be eligible to apply for these postgraduate programs, candidates are required to complete their B.Sc Nursing or a similar qualification.

GNM (General Nursing Midwifery): It is a diploma program with 30 students' intake. Admission would normally be given to candidates completing their 10+2 course. The curriculum is aimed at imparting practical nursing skills as well as training in midwifery.
