Government Degree College, Alair Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a library as a resource of knowledge. At present, it has 2140 books. The library is semi-automated with the Open Library Automation through Koha software. We are planning to subscribe to E-journals in the future. It has subscriptions for newspapers in both English and Telugu. It also has various reference books, competitive books for PG entrance, and books related to state public service exams. The students are utilizing these resources to enhance their knowledge. The Accession register, student and faculty books issue register, and visitors register are being maintained in the library. Staff and students utilize the library's services to the maximum extent.

The college laboratories are well-equipped to provide practical knowledge to the students in all subjects. The students are exposed to laboratories to gain a comprehensive understanding.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a big playground for playing various outdoor games. There are separate courts for playing shuttle, volleyball, and kabaddi. There is good sports equipment for playing games such as cricket, volleyball, chess, carroms, shot put, etc. The students take part in the fun and sports with zeal and this enhances their fitness. The faculty members also sometimes play with students. 

The college has a gym facility for all students and staff.

The college has SC/ST boys hostel. The students are encouraged to teach the hostel students after college hours, which is of mutual benefit to them and our students in terms of knowledge gaining and the satisfaction they get in helping the poor students in their studies.

The college has Open open-air auditorium/ theatre facility for all students and staff.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for all students and staff.
