Degree Wise Admission Process
B.A.: The college offers a variety of B.A. programs including Sociology, Education, History, Economics, Urdu, Sanskrit, Political Science, Punjabi, Hindi, English, and Dogri, with each having an approved intake of 80-120 students, depending on the particular course. Admission to the B.A. programs is based purely on merit, as reflected in the marks obtained by candidates at the 10+2 qualifying examination.
B.Com: The college provides B.Com and B.Com under Computer Applications. Under B.Com, the sanctioned strength for admission is 100, while that for B.Com with Computer Applications is 80. Admission to this program is done on the basis of this merit in the qualifying examination.
B.Sc.: GDC Samba provides a variety of programmes under B.Sc. headings, namely Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Zoology, Physics, Botany, Chemistry, Home Science, Medical, and Non-Medical. Most of these courses have a sanctioned strength of 80 students each. The admission to these B.Sc. courses is purely on merit, depending on the 10+2 scores of applicants.
