UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Hello,
Your expected rank will be around 582236.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100
where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session. It is expected that 1200000 candidates appear in April session so the expected rank can be calculated as (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100
Now, with such rank you will not qualify in JEE main and you cannot get admission in any NITs.State government colleges does not accept JEE main score. So you need to appear in April session and do well to get admission in NITs/CFTIs.
Hello,
Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is one of the best colleges in Pune and is getting popularity. You will find a lot of postive reviews for this college from the alumni in terms of placements, academics etc. The college is situated in an area having all the facilities nearby. The teachers and staff are also supportive and helpful. You will be able to understand the concepts very well. It also has a fix uniform system.
Hello Aspirant,
The exact prediction would be difficult regarding your admission possibilities based on your percentile. But based on this percentile the chances seems less to qualify the exam as general Category or get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.
You can try for the state level counselling like Punjab, Haryana, MP Etc., I would also suggest you to appear for JEE Main April Session 2020 which application form is expected to start from 7th February, 2020.
To know your admission possibilities in state level counselling you can use JEE Main college predictor tool given below.

Good Luck!
Hello,
To study in any engineering college at first you need to clear the jee main examination. Then you have to choose the college by your rank and then choose the trade. Basically for NITs and govt engineering colleges you need to have 75% in your class 12 or equivalent examination.
Try to give your best.
Hope for the best.
Thank you
Hi dear,
You have scored 48.47 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 447800. You can also calculate your rank as
Rank=(100-your percentile)×869010÷100
However your final rank will depend on number of student in April month exam. Your category rank will be around 105k. With this rank you have negligible chance to get any government college.
Hope it helps.
Hi dear,
You have got 66.16 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 294072. Your rank may vary if number of student in April month exam will increase. You can also calculate your rank as
Rank(100-your percentile)×869010÷100
Your category rank will be around 14k-15k according to last year trend. With this rank you have low chances to get any government college. You should reappear in april month exam and perform better.
Hope it helps.
You haven't mentioned your Category and the State, This is important to analyse your chances. So do please help us with those details.
Meanwhile, Your rank can be predicted by using the formula, (100-your total percentile)*869010/100. In your case, your approximate rank would be 447800 . Let's say the number of candidates for April exam increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100. With this rank, the chances for a Govt. Engineering college are lesser. You may have to appear for April session to improve your percentile and also to qualify for JEE Advanced session.
