Greetings,
here are some basic facts first:
- College repute:
GEC is a government college while LJIET is a private college, both of them have good track records.
- Fees:
- GEC - approx. 6,000 Rs.
LJIET - approx. 3 lacs
- faculty:
GEC: the faculty here is highly regarded by the current students for being helpful and knowledgeable.
LJIET: the faculty here is good (some very good, some not so much)
- Infrastructure:
GEC: outdates, not as grand and lack of maintenance.
LJIET: good infrastructure and facilities for the money
- Placements:
GEC - the average package offered is around 2.5-3.5 lacs per annum, though paid internship opportunities are good here.
LJIET - Average package offered ranges around 4 lacs per annum.
Bottom line is : If you think that paying more money for LJIET is worth it then it is better as a whole college experience and placement wise. if you want to go by reputation then GEC is better.
I'd suggest opt for GEC if you want to go for higher studies later and do not much care for placements.
good luck.
Hey!
MSU and DDU are both equally same when it comes to infrastructure. They both have huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, hostels, Wi-Fi enabled campus, etc,. Placements are in favour of DDU. They provide their highest salary as Rs. 30 lakhs/year where the former gives Rs. 3.1 lakhs/year. The rating is 4.3 and 3.9 for MSU and DDU respectively.
Both BVM and VGEC are almost similar in all aspects such infrastructure, placement, faculty, etc,. Their highest salary is Rs. 4.50 lakhs/year. Their rating is 3.9 and 4.0 respectively.
CHARUSAT has good infrastructure when compared to GEC, Gandhinagar. GEC has much less infrastructure. Placement is nearly same for both. The rating is 4.2 and 4.1 for CHARUSAT and GEC, Gandhinagar respectively.
Hope this is helpful!
All the very best!
