What is the minimum cutoff needed for government engineering colllege for computer science engineering.

Dear priyenga

The minimum cutoff needed for a government engineering College depend upon the state where the college is present.

Many states have good government engineering College so their cut-off is high where as other have low cut-off.
In states like Maharashtra and Utter Pradesh there are good government engineering College so there cutoff is high where as in state like Madhya Pradesh the cutoff is low as the quality of education is low and even the colleges are not good.

But you want to play on safe side if your rank is under 30000 in JEE mains means you have scored more then 140 you can get a good college in which ever state you want a minimum you can get upto the qualifying marks.

I have scored a 62 percentile in JEE MAIN Jan 2019, will I be getting any government engineering institute in India?

Hi dear,

You have scored 62 percentile that means your rank should be around 333k.you can also calculate as

Rank=(100-your percentile)×875000÷100

If you belong from general category then you have no chances for any government college and you are not qualifying for jee advance according to our expert prediction. you should look for private college.

What will cut off for BE in gec bharuch? For chemical, mechanical and electrical?

Government Engineering College, Bharuch takes the admission through GUJCET Entrance Exam. Sorry it is very difficult that you could qualify the jee mains ,since the expected cutoff for SC category is still not declared,it is hard to know the cutoff for sc.
You need to score atlest 70 percentile to get into the NITs.
But if you qualify the jee mains exam you can apply to different private institutions through jee mains.

There is no minimum percentile , that can be now said for any category. The cutoff for the college's and for JEE ADVANCE will only be declared by NTA after the April exam of JEE MAINS. It's due to the reason that the cutoff will also depend on the second exam as the best of two will be considered before making the rank list.

I was scored 72% in jee mains in january.would I get admission in any government engineering clg in Hyderabad.

Based on your present percentile, your rank is approximately between 323727-363727, estimating the total number of students appearing in the April JEE Mains is 1152650.

Though the cutoff for this year haven't been announced yet, still depending on your present rank, admission to any Government College is not guaranteed in you belong to general category. Otherwise if you belong to any reserved category then you might get into any government college of Hyderabad.
