Shri Shankaracharya Engineering College, Bhilai has a training and placement cell. The SSEC Bhilai placement cell is headed by the faculty members and students representatives. The placement cell of Shri Shankaracharya Engineering College also conducts training programmes like soft skills, technical skills, personality development, aptitude skills, group discussions, mock interviews etc.  Several training sessions on personality development and communication skills are also conducted for students to help them prepare better for the overall recruitment process.
