Now there are many who are passionate about anything else like acting, singing, modelling etc. But what they often interpret wrong that these things have no link to education. But the truth is the field you will go, everything will need a educational background. An actor need to know about different techniques of acting. A singer needs to know the notations and scales of harmony. A model needs to know the postures and posses that will express the essence of the photograph more.

So education is important. But we often mix education with academics. Academics may not be important for your passion but the education always is.
